May 15th 2010 Wedding Part 1

I was a second shooter for this wedding. The location was so pretty! Be prepared... I have lots of photos I want to share from this one. Each time I photograph something I can see myself getting better and better and it is so exciting!

Why do an engagement shoot?

I found this on Le Belle Bride's blog and wanted to repost it. It is really imporant to do an engagement shoot for the following reasons (This one's for the boys):

1) Get to know your photographer! An engagement shoot is a great time to get to know your photographer and to decide if it’s the right fit for your big day.

2) Practice Practice Practice. There’s only one way to get that blue steel look down. You gotta practice, bud. An engagement shoot is the time to figure out what looks work best for you and your bride. Also, if you’re blinky mc blinkerson, you have a chance to practice keeping those eyes open when that flash hits.

3) Make your little lady happy. As a guy, you may not be too keen on posing for more photos but just remember if she is happy, then you’re happy. Trust me when I say, you wanna make the lady happy, son.


I am going to add that it is really fun and a great chance to get good photos in a variety of locations!
